Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university to be eligible for the UPSC exam. The age limit varies based on the category, with general category candidates typically allowed up to 37 years. Relaxations in the upper age limit are provided for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government norms.
The BPSC exam consists of three stages: the Preliminary exam, the Main exam, and the Interview. The Preliminary exam is objective in nature, comprising questions from general studies.
